Let's Kick It Off With A Rumble... A Royal Rumble!!

Posted by jammer311 on January 21, 2015 at 4:05 PM Comments comments (0)

Remember when Vince McMahon would yell at us during the opening Royal Rumble video to hype the event?  So much yelling was done, but at the same time, it would hype me up as a young fan.  Was Hulk Hogan going to win the Rumble?  Who could eliminated the 460lbs Earthquake?  Will Ax and Smash go at it again this year?  Who will be number one?  Who will be number 30?

Ahhh... those were the days.

The Royal Rumble is this Sunday....

Sting Has Arrived.... 14 Years Too Late

Posted by jammer311 on November 25, 2014 at 3:00 PM Comments comments (0)

Survivor Series has come and gone yet again, and we are left with many feelings regarding the Pay Per View.... oops, should I say, Free Per View for those with the WWE Network; aka Americans.

Okay, let me get this out of the way first.  I am Canadian.  And in Canada, there is the WWE Network, it's just called the WWE Netpak, and a cable company by the name of Rogers Cable has the rights to it.  Rogers also only hits around 20% of Canada.  So what does tha...

Eric Young: Your New TNA World Champion!!

Posted by jammer311 on April 11, 2014 at 12:55 AM Comments comments (0)

Wow!!  Just wow!!  I have never been more happy for someone in wrestling than I am right now.  That being that "Showtime" Eric Young is now the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.  Now you are all probably wondering why that would make me so happy, right?

Well I need to back track a bit.  For Eric Young and I grew up together in a small village in Ontario.  And one day - along with a friend named Mike - we created this little thing we liked to c...

Wrestlemania Weekend: Happy and Sad Moments

Posted by jammer311 on April 9, 2014 at 3:00 PM Comments comments (0)

I am totally at a loss for words right now.  And I think everyone knows why.  I really didn't even know what to call this blog, because nothing seemed right for what I put.  So I just put what it's about.  I actually had this whole idea to write about "The Streak" coming to an end, but it almost seems weird to talk about that, when other things have happened in the last 24 hours or so.

I guess I should talk a bit about Wrestlemania XXX and the Hall of Fam...

CM Punk Quits The WWE?!?!

Posted by jammer311 on January 29, 2014 at 1:30 PM Comments comments (0)

Is it possibly true?  Did CM Punk actually walk out on the WWE, much like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin did 12 years ago?  Well, it appears to be true.  For CM Punk left Monday and isn't planning on returning any time soon.  Which actually doesn't shock me at all.

The guy has been miserable for a while now.  He's been booked horribly ever since dropping the WWE Title to The Rock at last years Royal Rumble.  Which probably started the problems to beg...

ROH: Ring Of Hero?

"We've got a hero!!" - Kevin Kelly, Final Battle 2013

Yes, it is correct.  For Chris Hero has returned home to ROH after being let go from WWE as a part of the NXT division.  Everyone should be talking about this.  But the problem is, something else has happened for ROH during this time.  A lot of things.

Let me just say first of all, that I loved ROH years ago.  And the sad thing is, it took me to the year 2012, to realize that I a...

WWE Raw: 20 Plus Years For Your Entertainment

Posted by jammer311 on October 2, 2013 at 5:00 PM Comments comments (0)

There has been talk for a long time if the WWE would ever put out a Raw box set.  And if so, what would be the content that they would choose?  For WWE Monday Night Raw has been on air from January of 1993.  Whether it be USA Network, The New TNN, which then became Spike TV, WWE Monday Night Raw has entertained fans for more than 20 plus years.

That's 52 shows a year.

So when you think of that - and I am by no means a mathematician - but I am...

Bob Caudle: Never Gets The Respect He Deserves

I find it hard to believe that I actually have so much I want to talk about in these blogs lately.  So much as a matter of fact that I am trying to narrow down my choice for today.  A lot of things lately have rubbed me the wrong way - and not about the current industry!  No, for stuff regarding wrestlers or commentators from the past.  But I will stick with the first one topic I had at hand for this blog.

Bob Caudle

Okay, a lot of you a...

Five Yes Guys/Five No Guys

Posted by jammer311 on September 17, 2013 at 5:50 PM Comments comments (0)

Everyone has wrestlers that they just love to love, or love to hate.  Some are liked because of a move they do, or a thing they say on the microphone.  I mean I can't say much, the five guys I grew up like in the 90s were Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Shane Douglas, Kevin Nash and Barry Windham.  One wore pink, one was a diva, one couldn't say an interview with swearing or cussing, one was super lazy and the other was a hick.  But I liked them, and that's all that mattered to...

Jim Ross Fired: Business Is About To Pick Up

Posted by jammer311 on September 11, 2013 at 7:10 PM Comments comments (0)

Wow, I can't believe it.  Two posts back to back and both contain information on WWE commentator Jim Ross.  I mean, JR.  Or should I say, Good Ol' JR.  For that's right, Jim Ross has been relieved of his duties for WWE.  So we will no longer hear Jim Ross call a match on Monday Night Raw anymore.

Wait, that stopped happening in 2008.

Okay, I know what it is.  For Jim Ross won't be head of Talent Relations anymore for the WWE.
